 Kakak had some money at first.

After spending $120 on a pair of jeans, she spent 4/7 of the remaining amount on a shirt.

She had 1/9 of his money left.

How much did Kakak have at first ?

• 3u = 1/9 of total money. It means total money = 27u

• It means, jeans portion is 27u - 4u - 3u = 20u
  20u = 120, or u = 6
• We can find total money at first = 27u = 27 x 6 = $142
