P5 Math: Shawn salary

Shawn spent $420 of his salary on a bicycle and gave some money to his parents. He then spent 3/7 of the remaining salary on food and saved the rest. The amount he saved was 1/3 of his salary. The amount he gave his parents was 1/4 of his salary.

(a) What fraction of Shawn's salary was spent on food ?

Every child was given 2 bags of cookies. Each bag contained either 10 chocolate cookies or 15 butter cookies. There were 88 children and they received 2345 cookies altogether. How many butter cookies did the children receive?

P5 Math: Calvin and Susie

Calvin and Susie had some game cards at first. Calvin gave 1/4 of his cards to Susie. After that Susie gave 1/5 of her cards to Calvin. In the end, Calvin had 45 cards and Susie had 36 cards. How many cards did Calvin have at first ?

The ratio of the number of David's cards to that of Peter's cards was 2:3 at first. After Peter gave 1/2 of his cards to David, he had 24 fewer cards than David. How many cards that David and Peter each have at first ?
