P5 Math: Tickets to Sell

Xavier and Yvonne had a total of 1105 tickets to sell. Xavier sold 3/5 of his tickets and Yvonne sold 3/7 of her tickets. They were left with the same number of tickets. How many tickets did Xavier sell?

Answer:

Xavier left with 2/5 of his tickets and Yvonne left with 4/7 of her tickets.
And both have same number, means:
2/5 X = 4/7 Y
Use same numerator concept, means 4/10 X = 4/7 Y, draw the model.
We can see the total = 17 units (at first).

1105 = 17 units, means 1 unit = 65.
From the model, Xavier sold 6 units, 6x65 = 330 tickets.
